These bundles of crafting full grain leather are soft and flexible. This leather is dyed in barrels without adding pigment and surface finish. They are considered 'naked' which gives them an incomparable natural appearance. Since it is not protected by a surface finish, this leather can carry natural marks. We carry several different sizes.
Small: consists of 20 sq. ft. of small scraps. Each scrap is 1 to 2 sq. ft. of golden tan deer suede. This bundle is well appreciated for various manual works such as small medicine purses, laces, dream catchers, etc. The thickness is approximately 2-3 oz (± 1 mm).
Medium: consists of 20 sq. ft. of small golden tan colored deer suede pelts varying from 2 to 5 sq. ft. for each hide. Soft and well appreciated for various crafts such as moccasins, mittens, doll clothes, dream catcher, laces, and much more! The thickness is approximately 2-3 oz (± 1 mm).
Large: consists of several skins between 2 to 7 sq. ft. Very soft and flexible full grain cowhide leather. This leather can be pyrographed easily. The thickness is approximately 0.6 / 0.8mm (1.5-2.0 ounces) thick. This leather is used to make gloves, mittens, moccasins, clothing, plantar orthotics, interior linings or any other artisanal product (Native American art).
Wax Thread: coarse waxed polyester thread for Speedy Awl in natural color, 180 yards.
Needle: diamond point needle pack of 10.
