We are a mother/daughter team, Francine and Natalie, living in Westport, Ontario, in the Rideau Lakes area.

For 28 years, we operated a retail business under the name The Brown Bear in Westport and Kingston Ontario and sold Canadian made gifts and Canadian Art and shipped around the world.

In 1998, we closed all stores and are now selling online only. Our mission is to provide the best products and service to our customers at the best price and to help Natalie be a “stay-at-home” mom with her 3 little children and #4 coming soon.
