Shoulder Season

Shoulder Season

Shoulder season is the term for the months in between winter and summer: September to November, and February to April. It’s an expression that’s commonly used in the tourism industry to describe “off-seasons” for travel destinations.

Shoulder season is also a reference to those times of the year when weather conditions may be inconsistent or unpredictable. A day in November may start off brisk and sunny, but end with snowfall. And often spring-like days in March are accompanied by slush and mud.

The shearling lining provides insulation that is cozy and warm, but naturally breathable, wicking away moisture so feet stay dry and comfortable. This makes it the perfect boot for the shoulder seasons when cool days turn colder, and chilly days warm up.
