In the snowy depths of a Canadian winter, summer sunshine can seem so far away.
Days are short, dark comes early, and the world is a brittle, frozen place. It’s hard to remember beach weather when you’re bundling up for cold temperatures in knitted layers and goose down.
One way to keep warm thoughts of summer close to your heart is: Laurentian Chief Sheepskin Ankle Slippers.
Cozy and luxurious, these slippers are handcrafted in Canada with woodsy brown suede and hand-sewn stitching and bead work. They have a beautiful bohemian aesthetic, reminiscent of light, flowing dusters and dresses, mid-summer music festivals, and the tall grasses and wildflowers of August.
The sheepskin cuff folds up or down, pairing perfectly with your favourite jeans, and creating a chic look even at your most casual. The shearling wool fibres naturally provide a blend of insulation and ventilation, ensuring your feet will always stay warm, without becoming overheated. The soft, suede sole is the next best thing to going barefoot, so although you may be stuck indoors in a snow storm, you’ll still feel like a free spirit.
Sheepskin Ankle Slippers are available in women’s sizes 5 - 10.

In response, Monica: I hear ya! These were such good sellers, but there was a problem: the top stitching seemed to come undone a lot for customers, so we had to discontinue them, and I believe Laurentian Chief as well. The structure just wasn’t long-lasting, but I’m glad yours lasted you a long time. We might look into getting some custom slippers that have a different seam. Stay tuned!

Please bring these back! I bought some years ago that finally need to be replaced. They have such a nice toe box. Curious if your other current options are as wide – they look more narrow.

I live my pair and still have them.
This style is so special and I would love to see them brought back!

In response to Sloan: The manufacturer (Laurentian Chief) stopped making this style as they had a problem with the seam on the vamp, it would come apart easily.

Would you guys ever bring this style back?
