I have not used the grounding rod yet but based on the utility of the other products that I have purchased, I am confident that the grounding rod will work as expected. At first, I was confused because I was looking for the piece that goes into the electrical outlet and it wasn't there. then I remembered that the whole point is to put the rod in the ground; thus, there is no piece that goes into the electrical outlet. Duhhh! :-)
Grounding Rod or Rod Extension for Earthing

Use this grounding rod to connect your earthing products directly to the earth when you don't have a grounded outlet or when travelling. Package include one metal earthing ground rod with 40' cord (12.1 m). You can choose either the rod to connect to your earthing product or the extension that will make your cord even longer. You can also just order the metal rod only.
Grounding Rod: includes 1 rod & 1 grey cord, 15 m (50'). This cord snaps directly into the earthing item you are connecting to.
