These men's loafer style moccasin shoes are durable high-quality moccasins handmade from genuine leather in a nice Cork Brown colour.
They are hand-crafted from real moose hide leather and have raw hide laces for tightening. These men's Native American style loafer moccasin shoes have a durable hard Kabir rubber sole, perfect for outdoor use. They feature a thin insole and the interior is genuine suede leather which is dependable and will comfortably mold to your foot.
These men's boat shoe style moccasins are very easy to slip on and off and come in men's size 7-13. These moccasins fit true to size, for half sizes go up to the nearest full size (10 ½ order size 11).
Moose, bison and elk are wild animals, so therefore incurs wounds and scarring during their lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's storyline. I bought a pair of these on the recommendation of a friend from Toronto. They're the best mocs I've ever owned. They're incredibly comfortable, they don't have any lining so I can wear them in all seasons - not too hot or cold. I generally wear them indoors, but the non-slip rubber sole accommodates forays outdoors, even in wet weather. After several years the sole finally wore out, but the uppers were still completely intact, so I sent them back to the folks at the Brown Bear and they replaced the soles. What service! I like them so much that when they went on sale recently I bought another pair so I'll be well supplied into the future.
Bought the Cork Moose Hide Leather Shoes with the copper stud to wear as slippers and the Elk & Moose Hide shoes to wear as an alternative to sandals during our upcoming summer here in Australia and I am one very pleased customer. So the image shows an Englishman in Australia wearing Canadian moccasins while relaxing watching the best sport in the world English Premier League Football.
Great quality shoes but they stretch. I ordered a half size and was advised to go up to the next size. They fit at first until I wore socks which stretched them. Now they are too big and I always have to wear socks. Take the fact that they stretch into account when purchasing. I recommend and would buy again but in the next half size down!

The mocs looked and felt fabulous however I had to send them back for a different size. The instructions said if you wore a half size then order the next size up. It should have instructed me to order the next size down as these shoes were huge. Had this not happened I would have given you 5 stars.
The moc's are beautifully made however they run quite large in size. The description says for half sizes go up a size which I did but the moc's were huge. I'm returning them for a full size smaller.
What a wonderful pair of moccasins. Extremely well made. Very quick ship. Good communication. This is my 2nd pair of Laurentian Chief moccasins. My 2nd pair has a soft, double sole for inside wear only. The new one is for outside wear. I would high recommend either type. Great company to do business with.
I was looking for a good quality, comfortable slip-on shoe with a wider toe box and minimal sole thickness. I am currently on my second pair of Laurentian Chief indoor moccasin slippers and I absolutely love them. Then it dawned on me that I could get a soled pair to wear outside. I have been very happy with my new outdoor mocs!!
A few noteworthy items; I am a woman and wear size 10 shoes, I went with the men's size 8 and they are true to size. I don't typically like women's shoes because I find them too narrow in the toe box.
I did have to break in these mocs, and wore them in the house for a few days with socks on. There is a seam at the top of the heal that rubbed pretty hard under my achiles tendon. It's completely comfortable now.
I coated the mocs with mink oil to protect the leather. And doing so darkened the colour quite a bit. I'm totally fine with the colour change, this is just an FYI to others that when you protect the leather, it may darken.
I look forward to wearing these super comfy, quite minimalistic mocs for years to come!
Very fast delivery. Immediately on putting on these slippers a huge smile crossed my face and an overall feeling of “ahhhhh” enveloped me. My goodness these are “sweet on the feet.”

Love is not too strong a word when it comes to these moccasin shoes. My husband's first pair is well over 20 years old. He finds the new pair comfortable and is willing to wear them, which is a miracle considering how much he still loves the worn-out pair!!! Can't beat these for wearability and comfort.

Excellent moccasins
I have been buying moccasins from Moccasins Canada for years and presently have 3 pair, caribou, fudge moose and cork moose plus old caribou that are getting pretty tired. Love the quality and workmanship in these mocs. I wear 13 and they are a perfect fit.

I bought the Moose Hide cork Moccasins with the copper stud and am truly surprised at how comfortable and easy to wear they are even from the first time to slip them on they felt great. Outside, inside they are comfortable plus, so many of the people I have seen while wearing them have asked where I bought them so expect a few Aussie orders.

Back Again
This is the second pair of Cork Moose Hide Leather Moccasins that my husband has owned. I knew that they would be a great birthday gift this year. They are the only moccasins that fit his feet well, ones that he can wear even after having had an ankle replacement . They are sturdy, comfortable, and attractive. I hope that they continue to make this excellent shoe for a long while!
Perfect Christmas gift!
A perfect Christmas gift. They arrived just a few days of ordering online. My husband has owned a pair of Laurentian Chief moccasins (similar style) & they’ve stood up to everyday use for over 10 years. They still look good but one of the soles cracked recently. The store he bought them from is no longer in business so I googled Laurentian Chief & found you. Thank goodness!! Your online ordering is easy, delivery was prompt & your moccasins are beautifully made in Canada!! I have every confidence that this new pair will last just as long & be just as comfortable as his original pair. Maybe I should treat myself to a pair!!
Great
These moccasins are all I wear. I live in moccasins. Work in them. Go on hikes / long walks in them. Do yard work in them (older pairs). I kind of hate regular shoes.
I’m glad I found you folks. I have been using another brand that was convenient for me to pick up in person, you know, back when I left the house regularly ;-). Your product is superior in comfort and aesthetic, easily. I’m really happy with these first two pairs I’ve purchased. I consider the moose ones more my “formal attire” as the dark color is pretty stylish and goes with everything. The elk ones are more casual looking. I love them both. Oh and the moose ones that have the slightly more robust insert are super comfortable for longer walks or when I’m walking on cement more than ground.
I’m used to moccasins wearing out pretty quickly, mostly because I wear them so much (and walk around a lot). I’m curious to see how much life I get out of your product, but they certainly seem very well built and I believe they will last an appropriate amount. Either way I’m used to purchasing moccasins multiple times a year, and you’ve certainly got my business going forward.

60th Birthday gift
Bought my other half same mocassins as his last 2 pairs, as he completly wore them out. They were part of his 60th presents. I ordered them online and they arrived in a few day. They were perfect, look great and when he tried them on, said they were comfotable immediately and did not to be worked in, but we know they will keep getting better, as he wears them.....thank you!!

Bought the Moccasin Shoes and they're great, perfect fit, comfortable and reasonably priced. Excellent for inside and outside wear. They were out of stock when I placed my order but I was pleasantly surprised when they were delivered along with my wife's pair a short time later. Will certainly order from them again!
Moccasin Convert
I needed a pair of low leather shoes for the summer but can't bear the yachty look of the dreaded 'boat shoe'. Moccasins say "I don't own a yacht, I paddle a canoe"; right? I wanted to buy a product that was made in Canada or the US (many are not) so I took the plunge and imported a pair to the UK. I am delighted. Great soft leather and true to size. I'm now flying the moccasin flag in the UK every day. I quite fancy a soft sole pair for the authentic experience... a pair of ankle boots?

I have had them for 3 weeks now. Very nice Moccasins. Well made and comfortable. Indoors and out.
I normally wear a size 10.5 so I ordered 11. Perfect fit. These would make an extremely nice gift for someone worthy of an awesome pair of moose hide mocs.

Now they are mostly broken in I am extremely satisfied as usual. These are my 5th pair over almost 15 years and although they are fairly pricey the value is unquestionable.

Fit and wear well
These are a good tough pair of moccasins. I've been wearing a pair around the house all winter and they are holding up well. I usually wear an 11 and have a wide foot. These moccasins were snug when they arrived and slowly stretched around my feet and still fit snugly, are very comfortable and my feet do not hang over the sole. My previous pair of leather moccasins stretched out beyond use. The sole on these moccasins still show little wear and the stitching is still intact. I'm starting to wear these moccasins outside and am curious to see how they wear. I'm ordering anouther pair to wear around the house and to town.
Every Ten Years...
...it seems I have to replace my moccasins. My last pair was comfy, rugged, and long lived. Now, my new pair is comfy, rugged, and I have no doubt will be long lived. Love them ! My regular size is 10, and these in size 10's, fit properly. These are the BEST for around the house and scuffing around outside here and there. I think I should go wild and get a SECOND pair for my upcoming birthday. Hints dropped to my wife and daughter, LOL
Yet another good pair
This is probably the 5th or 6th pair I have bought. All the others have been for my husband, this time it was my turn! So well made. They fit snugly at first but I have no doubt they will stretch as all his have. Definitely worth getting a size smaller if you are a half size. Definitely worth buying!
One of the Best Moosehide Mocs I have owned!! Comfortable
My wife cleaned out my closet 2 years ago and threw out my 20 year old Moose Mocs that I loved... The only thing wrong with them was the suede tie laces were broke and so I pulled them out and was going to buy replacements. But she thought they were JUNK!!! Needless to say several weeks later I kinda went ballistic that they were gone, and for months I kept bringing up the fact that she threw my prized Mocs out...
So for Xmas last year she bought these! Great Mocs, comfortable, form fitting, better quality than what I had before and I wear them everyday..
No wear at all to the uppers... The sole looks very good, just a little wear at the inside heel, but no Biggy. The Craftsmanship on these is top notch. I do not think you can find anything that will compare. Look closely at the way the sole is attached to the Moc. It is sewed on around the side of the Moc, not on the bottom where the sewing will wear away and the sole will fall off. Not the case with these.. Very pleased.
