SO Comfortable! I've worn this style before, so I knew the comfort would be there, but these are FANTASTIC! Normally I order my size in all moccasins, but for these I ordered a 10 (I'm a ladies 9 in pretty much everything and every brand). If you have wide feet or if you've ever worn a half-size larger than your normal size, for example a 9.5 instead of 9 on occasion, you might want to size up. That's due to finding this particular brand (Bastien) slightly small-ish, and I have multiple pairs of their moccasins. Could I have ordered a 9 and been okay? Yes, and the length would be fine. But I also would have had a bit of a pinch while trying to stretch them, and shoes shouldn't be uncomfortable to 'break them in.' There's also a limit as to how much any leather hide will stretch. There is just the right amount of cushion inside these moccasins, so you don't feel every rock and pebble, but you're still grounded and connected. If you need orthotics I'm not sure you'd have enough room ordering your exact size. These are right out of the box unsurpassed comfort! But, do keep your sizing in mind when ordering. And you should definitely order!

Moccasins fit like a glove This is the second pair of moccasins I’ve had from Brown Bear, I had the first pair for three years with daily wearing when the stitching around the toe area of the sole came loose. The tread was worn down and replacing it was about the same cost as a new pair. I bought the most recent pair which conform to my foot and fit like a glove. Ordering was a smooth process with Canadian currency exchange and speedy delivery. I’ll enjoy this new pair of moccasins for another few years!
Most comfortable shoes ever! I grew up wearing moccasins and loved them because I did not need to wear socks with them and at the time, sandals for women were mostly for dress and not comfortable. In my older, yet still active age, I decided to return to the soft footwear I once loved so much. Thankfully, these moccasins are far better in quality and softer for old feet. I wear them without socks. I have narrow feet and pulled the leather throng to tighten them up enough to not slip off. They still go on easily. I can wear socks with them when the weather gets colder. They are aesthically pleasing, too, with the fringe and beadwork. The quality is exceptional. I could not be happier with the shoes I have purchased from this company. I bought a different pair a couple of months ago for hiking and love those just as much. Shipping is prompt. I will continue to purchase more products and highly recommend their shop.

You will love them You will not be disappointed. This is my 2nd pair of this style that I have ordered because I wore my first pair out. These moccasins are so easy to slip on, so soft and will last a long time. My last pair lasted 8 years and still wear them outside for yard work. Make sure your size is correct, I normally take a size 8 but all my moccasins are a 7. Could not see myself without a pair.

So much better! I am a volunteer at the Museum of the Cherokee in South Carolina. When I first started working here, I ordered a pair of "moccasins" online. I won't say where they were made, but you can probably guess. They are okay. But, now that I've been at the Museum a while, I felt weird wearing these and decided to get a "real" pair of moccasins. I came across your website. And, voilà, I now have a beautiful pair of authentic moccasins actually made in North America! They are wonderful. They are soft and comfortable. Beautiful shoes! These shoes are absolutely gorgeous, well-made, comfortable and look awesome! The shoe runs a bit wide, so take that into consideration when you order. I usually wear size 8 women and these were a bit wider than my feet. However, my feet are a bit wide, and I found that the outer sole was a bit too narrow for my foot. Other than that, I love these!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! I got these on WEDNESDAY and wore them all day Thursday at work. I normally wear dansko or Sanita brand shoes or cowboy boots because of my high arch and high insteps. Flat shoes are usually not comfortable on my feet i need a lot of good support. But these Mocs are great I normally wear a size 7 and have orthotics I wear in my workout shoe. I inserted the orthotics in the Mocs and had enough room for them. The fit was perfect. I am considering ordering another pair. So happy they worked out.
